Brian Gates is a product executive who has been developing innovative products and teams for nearly two decades. A graduate of Purdue University and father of three, he enjoys mentoring and multiplying those around him to build compelling products.

Over the course of his career he has designed several hundred consumer products, holds over a dozen patents, and successfully built multiple technology companies. His most recent endeavors have included creating the product management and ux teams at Infusionsoft. Then leading those teams in the development of a disruptive small business strategy platform that simplified operations, dramatically increased revenues and propelled the company into several large funding rounds. From there he joined Instructure to once again build out a strong product management team and direct the core product, Canvas, up to and through IPO.

He is currently leading product and design at RainFocus, an enterprise experiential marketing platform.

When he is not at the office, he enjoys building furniture, the great outdoors and chasing a puck around a rink.
